Please note: Due to very high water temperatures, trout fishing has been suspended on Loch Awe until further notice. (26th July 2021).
Loch Awe is 27 miles long, up to a mile wide and has depths of more than 300ft in places. Set in spectacular
Argyll scenery the loch attracts many visiting anglers throughout the year for both the wild brown trout, arctic charr
and coarse fishing. In recent years the loch has become something of an attraction for anglers pursuing the famous
large predatory ferox trout and sizeable pike.
